Anomaly Warzone Earth is a real time strategy game, a kind of tower defense game.
It's 2018, and British security forces in Baghdad witness the crash landing of a huge fragment of an alien mothership. The crash site is covered in a strange glowing orb, and no one can see what's inside. You begin with a team of vehicles and your Combat Suit, which allows you to direct the team.
Your task in Anomaly Warzone Earth is to choose your convoy's route through the ravaged city, managing the route as events change. You also choose the make up of the convoy, and have to intelligently repair the machines as you need to.
There are three difficulty levels in Anomaly Warzone Earth, although even the the easiest is a challenge. The graphics look good, and even when the action hots up they are still really clear so you don't lose things amongst all the explosions.
Anomaly Warzone Earth is surprisingly enjoyable, despite its simplicity. It's easy to get into, really well presented and exciting.
